the commander walked over to a cabinet and pulled out a drawer. inside it were a strange kind of typewriter and a small book.

he muttered to himself as he with great effort moved the heavy piece from the drawer to his desk and sat down in his chair to open up the book at the desired page, the keys. his eyes read the long keys, one by one, as his fingers turned the wheels to match, and shook his head and thought words that are not supposed to be recorded in text. so let’s just say that he was not very pleased with this obscure way of communicating, especially not when they had the marvelous enigma.
